Treatment for
blackheads
Having
blackheads can be embarrassing at times and is an eyesore. The
treatment for blackheads is easy as long as
you know what to do. Most of the time people are
wondering if they can do the treatment for blackheads
themselves. One can actually do some simple blackhead
treatments for themselves in their own homes.
Treatment for
blackheads
One
effective but simple treatment you can start to do at home is
to eat right and to have an exercise routine daily or at least
thrice a week. Exercise and a good diet coupled with taking in
some vitamins like vitamins A, B1, B2, chromium and zinc would
do wonders for the skin. When you exercise you are helping your
body remove the toxins and body waste through sweating. Do an
easy and simple research of good brands for facial cleansers.
Opt for the ones that don’t have harsh ingredients so as not to
irritate and dry the skin. Get some retinoid creams or lotions
as well since this would decrease the amount of sebum produced
by the sebaceous gland. Gentle exfoliating creams would also
work with blackheads but remember not to use the strong
exfoliating creams because if not used properly it can harm
your skin even to the deeper levels. Pushing the blackheads out
by hands can be effective but only apply gentle pressure so
that there would be no scarring or marks that will be left
behind in the place of the blackhead.
You can
also try using lukewarm water to wash your face with to open
the skin pores before applying the gentle cleanser on your
face. After this application, rinse with a slightly cold water
to close the skin pores again so that the dirt and germs that
will lodge in the pores would only be at a minimum level. Never
make the mistake of thinking that applying strong and harsh
chemicals on the blackheads will guarantee that you will no
longer have blackhead problems. If you do this you will just be
scarring your skin unnecessarily while still facing the same
problem. Always remember that the skin is a very sensitive
organ of the body.

One can
also go to a derma clinic or spa to avail of their treatment
for blackheads. This is also good but even if you go to a
spa or a derma clinic to have your blackheads treated you
cannot expect that the blackhead will be gone forever. It may
take a while for the treatment of blackheads to work
completely.
Another
treatment for blackheads that you can do at home is with the
aid of a metallic extractor and the pore strips. Both methods
should be done carefully so that you won’t harm the skin cells.
You can also get the commercial solution of blackhead
dissolver. If you do use this, ensure that your skin is not dry
because if it is dry then the dried skin flakes will just stick
and clog to the empty pores again and you would have a more
severe case of blackheads.
