Blackheads on back
Why
is the back prone to blackheads?
Almost all
the body parts, except back, are easily accessible by touch of
hands and lie within the field of vision hence open to visual
inspection and ,some on time corrective and preventive action.
This situation hinders efforts to get rid of black heads on
back which are sometimes also known as ‘Bacne’. Different
devices have been tried by people for extraction of
blackheads on back but, none is in fact,
effective enough for the purpose.
Blackheads
on back
There are
quite a few different types of hormones but what causes
blackheads on back, is Androgen, which is a male
hormone but found in both sexes, more in male and to lesser
extent in females. Secreted in adrenal glands, this hormone is
prompted by the onset of puberty; a stage specially known for
the hormonal imbalance. Hormonal balance means that the male
hormones have to be quantitatively more in male with lesser
proportion of the female hormones (estrogens) and vice versa.
It not only the age that can cause hormonal imbalance but
certain other conditions, like emotional stress, improper diet,
use of certain drugs and diets may also play some role in
misbalancing the hormones.
How
the blackheads are formed on back?
Excessive
presence of Androgens on account of hormonal imbalance prompts
excessive production of ‘Sebum’; the skin oil. Sebum is meant
to keep the skin moisturized and soft. In case of excessive
production, it is collected in the hair follicles and
accumulates in the sebaceous channel. Blackheads are black
tipped plugs of fatty matter clogging the pores of skin;
especially the ducts of sebaceous glands. Blackheads on
back are more prevalent in the young adults but not
restricted this age group only. Blackheads are caused by, and
cause emotional stress and the vicious circle impacts the
personality of the sufferer negatively.

Which
method is mostly used for curing blackheads on
back?
In a state
of desperation, some people try methods; which do more harm
than good. Such methods include excessive use of oils, lotions
creams and other topical application which on account of their
oily nature, simply aggravate the condition.
Rigorous
scrubbing is similarly more injurious than being beneficial.
Self medication, particularly the use of hormones is highly
detrimental. Another scenario is that people start using harsh
antiseptic soaps to get rid of the blackheads on back.
None of these practices can be recommended.
